OK guys I am sure most of you have seen the thread DreamTR started about his protos. What I am wondering is do you guys as a community want to try and get this game released via ROMs. He is asking $2000 for it to release the ROMs. ------------------------- Proud replier of post #1000 in the infamous Joel thread

I think it's great to get unreleased stuff out there, but some things are better left alone.
I don't think you could pay me $20 to play MTIPP, let alone throw down cash to have it dumped. I'm not huge into emulation, so it would have to be a real gem to get me to donate. If it were War on Wheels, I throw down $100 without hesitation. Good luck regardless. I have a feeling a lot of people will be interested. ------------------------- Nathan: Change, and not the Cash kind Jonebone: No we Can't! Dan: Stop public urinators! I'm not against people donating and getting the game released. It's just not something I'm interested in. The released version of the game isn't exactly a master piece. I would imagine I'm not the only person the boards who isn't amped about a possible release of a terrible game. ------------------------- Nathan: Change, and not the Cash kind Jonebone: No we Can't! We could always try and do other games later if this project is a success. Would be a great way to get history out to the masses. We are wanting to preserve history here so it isn't lost forever, nothing more nothing less. I understand this isn't for everyone but some games will NEVER be released unless $$$ are gathered to get them released. ~~NGD ------------------------- Proud replier of post #1000 in the infamous Joel thread

I guess it depends on what kind of timeframe you want, NGD. You can put me down for a guaranteed $20, but if the timing is right I may be able to up that.

Originally posted by: NationalGameDepot That's fair, but I don't necessarily know if this is the game to start with. What about something like Robin Hood? The early version is suppose to be drastically different with some great added features (including an archery mode). I would assume it would cost less to dump, and it would have a great deal of potential as well. As unmemorable as the Robin Hood game was, I think it's head and shoulders above MTIPP.Originally posted by: BeaglePuss I think it's great to get unreleased stuff out there, but some things are better left alone. Most unreleased games are terrible though, that is why they weren't ever released lol. ~~NGD I really enjoyed the release of HC though for a number of reasons. 1. It had been talked about for so long, and assumed MIA. 2. It was unreleased in any format before. There was so much history behind it that it made it more alluring. The fact that no one knew what to expect made it exciting to play. MTIPP is missing most of the things that made me look forward to Happy Camper. ------------------------- Nathan: Change, and not the Cash kind Jonebone: No we Can't! Dan: Stop public urinators!
