Hi !

I own a factory sealed NES SUPER MARIO. It's written REV- A on the lower right side. The plastic wrapper has some scratches (no tear) and 3 cornersout of the 8 may be crushed ans pierced a bit. It has the plastic hanger glued on top and the box is not crushed at all.

What could I expect from it ?

Thank you all !

Really hard to judge without pics. Plus there are several revisions of this game that command different prices.

Pics or you don't own it. Seriously, we need pics of all corners, top, sides, front, back, and everything else to give you a good value response.

I would say it's probably better than Paul's copy :-P

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

OK... in fact, I was more looking for a range value. I had that cartridge for a good 20 years and I was wandering if i should sit on it for a couple more years. I saw one for 5k on ebay and was wandering if this is a normal price (I know... total newbie here !)

What is black or white seal ?

I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

That is VGA's (video game authority-grader) terminology Tom is referring to for circle or oval seals of quality. They are located on the lower right corner on the front of the box. The circle (black) seal is the first seal Nintendo used, the oval (white) seal is the later version they switched to.

Yes, it's this one...

I figured mine would not worth as much as 5K ! So... I guess I should wait a couple more years ?

Just for the fun, how much was the most expensive one sold ?

Not 100% sure, but I think I saw an ungraded one sell for $300 a lil while back.
