Alright, I'm trying to get all the N64 Player's Choice variants. The ones I'm more interested in are the ones that have the gold border on the left side of the cover. Their code ends with a -1 (all the ones I have do). I know there's a list of 27 player's choice games, but I dont think all of them had a gold variant made.

These are the ones I have, can someone confirm if there's any more?

- 1080
- Banjo-Kazooie
- Cruis'n USA
- Diddy Kong Racing
- Goldeneye 007
- Legend of Zelda OOT
- Mario Kart 64
- Starfox 64
- Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
- Star Wars Rogue Squadron
- Super Mario 64
- Turok
- Wave Race
- WCW vs NWO World Tour
- Yoshi's Story

I know that 1080 exists and I'm pretty sure there's one for Super Smash Bros. I've seen dozens of SSB PC carts, but never a box.

Please chime in of you own or have seen any ones not mentionned here.

I've also noticed the SSB cart but never a matching box.... I doubt it exists.

Just a quick glance, there should also be a Turok 2 on there. That's the only one that comes to mind, but I don't actively collect these so I could have missed some.

hmmm do you know what the two SSB variants on NA's list are then (the -1 and -2)? Is it like SM64 with a different ESRB rating? I do have the Turok 2 one, but it's just a regular box with a PC sticker on it.

I believe there are 3 different SSB carts. Not sure on the boxes

1. Original release, ESRB rating has a white E with black shadowing around it
2. Non players choice, ESRB rating has a black E
3. Players choice

Maybe there was never a box variant made for it. Doesn't look like it since no one here has confirmed yet.

That's cool. According to NOAs list of PC games, Hey You Pikachu wasn't released as a PC so that must be like a special edition or something.

I wanted to know if any headway was made on this. I found this list below, but I am looking specifically for boxes with the gold ends printed on them. Part of the problem is that some of the PC titles were shrink wrapped and stickered, they may have never gotten actually PC boxes. Any help would be great.

* 1080° Snowboarding
* Banjo-Kazooie
* Bomberman 64
* Bomberman Hero
* Cruis'n USA
* Diddy Kong Racing
* Donkey Kong 64
* F-1 World Grand Prix
* F-Zero X
* GoldenEye 007
* Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside
* The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
* Mario Kart 64
* Perfect Dark
* Pokémon Snap
* Pokémon Stadium
* Star Fox 64
* Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
* Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
* Super Mario 64
* Super Smash Bros.
* Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
* Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
* Waialae Country Club
* Wave Race 64
* WCW vs. nWo: World Tour
* Yoshi's Story

Start from Red Sox Papi's list. I don't do PC but I have been watching N64 CIBs closely for about 4 years now. I'm just glancing but the only one I see on your list missing from his is Turok 2. I can confidently say that stuff like Perfect Dark, SSB, Pokemon Stadium, etc. don't exist. It will take photographic proof to prove otherwise.

My Turok 2 PC has a PC sticker on the box. No clue if that was the only way it was available or not.

SSB is all over ebay with the PC badge, the question is, did it have a PC box, or was it just a sticker on the celo?  I can confirm Kobe Courtside with Sticker on Celo. Turok 2 I have only ever seen with the sticker on the box.

Turok and WCW do have PC version including the box. Based on what I've heard here and seen on multiple sites, the list in my OP seems to be complete....for now

Edit: BTW, my list is for the PC version that had a PC box. It doesn't include the ones with the sticker on the box/cello.

you're both right. just never saw one. thanks for proving me wrong. from what i see,

Turok PC manual doesnt have a revision
WCW vs NWO World Tour cart doesnt have a revision

if someone can find both item with a -1 at the end of the product, that'd be nice.

Well that makes it clearer. I am going to go ahead and keep my list up and I will note which versions I find. I am very interested in this kind of work.

Thanks for the update Julien

I found this video which states that SSB, Pokemon Stadium, Donkey Kong, and Pokemon Snap were all best sellers and were placed at the 39.95 price point, however; the boxes it shows are just the regualr boxes. Maybe these games got the sticker treatment.

I agree. I've seen dozens of PC SSB carts and no one has ever reported seeing a PC box. I assume it had a sticker on the cello or nothing at all.

Thanks for posting your list. Those were all the ones I could find released as PC, but not all of them got a box revision. I'm positive my PC box list is complete, but I'm waiting for the day to be proved wrong.

Yeah I did the same thing with the Genesis MegaHits list about a year ago. I was told such and such games didn't exist and I believed that one Power Rangers probably never had a box release, and then I found one. I like digging for this kind of stuff, I have already edited my list a few times to include lots of boxes I found that had the PC stickers on the box. Zelda being the most recent.
