*ahem* Up for auction is a copy of one of the rarest Famicom Original games available, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Impossible to find in the US of A, I managed to get this and a few other games from a friend who has friends in China - the other games will go up next week, so I'm testing the waters with this. The game is basically a port of the original Final Fantasy VII game. The game is BALLS HARD. I couldn't even beat the first enemies in the game, so either I suck or Chinese players are fucking HARDCORE. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The game is complete and working. It is entirely in Chinese. The manual is in full color and is glossy. The manual might have a few creases, and the outer case might have a few stray bits of plastic due to the manufacturers not having that much going on when it comes to Quality Control. The cart is completely untampered with, and it still has all the security stickers intact. The game worked perfectly on my NES (using a Honeybee 60-72 pin adapter) and on several Famiclone systems. If you have ANY questions regarding the game, feel free to ask them via PM or by replying here. I might be able to take a video of the game and upload it if requested. Starting bid: $25 USD Buy-Me-Out price: $750 USD with free worldwide shipping via Priority Mail within the US, and Express Mail outside of the country! Bid increment: $1 USD (minimum) Shamelessly stolen from mb7241 (with a few changes): Depending on when the final bid is submitted. If a bid is submitted within 5 minutes of the end time, the auction will be extended to encompass 5 extra minutes beyond the time of the late bid. Shipping within the US will be $4.60: this covers the cost of a one pound Priority Mail package with free delivery confirmation. International buyers must pay extra for shipping. Insurance, if desired, will be at cost. Buy-Me-Out prices will stand until 75% of that price is reached via bidding. Bids are to be submitted via thread posts only. Side offers will be considered, and may be submitted via PM for anonymity. So there you have it. Spend your stimulus checks on this! Support the economy! My economy, that is! I know I'm new here but I've been selling on eBay and DigitalPress for several years. I'm totally legit. Edit: Current high bid: $60 by xARSEFACEx. ------------------------- Kitsune's Random Auctions http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZkitsu... ... Wow. Just wow. I had hoped to keep this off the boards, but you brought it here, so guess I have to defend myself.
I had seller's remorse, true, but guess what? I was going to DEAL with it. The game didn't sell for as much as I had hoped it would. $70 barely covered the cost of getting the game to where I live (purchase costs, shipping costs to the person in China that sent it to me, and FEDEX international shipping to my box office in the USA). But I was gonna deal with it. This happens to me all the time on eBay, sometimes things don't sell for as much as I had hoped for, but I deal with it because that's how business, and auctions, work. But what's the first thing you tell me via PM? "hey man. I am going to make your day and let you know don't worry about selling it, i bid there to save you on the deal Can you point me to a rom for it though, I would love to play it" You made SHILL BIDS ON THIS. You didn't make bids intending to buy the item, you were only trying to drive up the price. I had hoped to make enough to pay back the money I borrowed to get the shipment of Chinese games I showed here, so I can hopefully buy more stock from the person I got these from. Hell, I'm tempted to sell the cart to xArsefacex now, at the price he offered. I'm losing a lot of money, but know what? At least he made serious bids. I've got no interest in dealing with shill bidders. If you weren't going to buy the game, then why the hell did you bid on it? (Edited to clear up typos and clarify the last sentence.) ------------------------- Kitsune's Random Auctions http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZkitsu... I don't know man, I think I agree with jeffg onn this one. It's not like he is not willing to pay, as he said that he has "paypal ready." Shill bidders would just bid on the game and not buy it, it appears as though he is willing to buy it.
I really think he was trying to do you a favor, and I don't see a reason for you to be upset about it. I think you just picked the wrong forum to hold an auction for a Famicom game (I don't even know what the damn thing is), and jeffg thought that you were hoping for a few hundred dollars (at least) for this game. I would understand why you'd be pissed if he just said "sorry, I just wanted to help - I have no intention to buy," but he seems willing to buy the game from you. |

Meh. If he still wants the game, then fine, what the hell ever.
I -was- hoping for a few hundred dollars, but as I said, if I couldn't reach that amount, then it's too bad. But I would DEAL with it. Because that's how business works. But who the heck bids on something then says that he doesn't really want it? Wouldn't you be pissed off at that, too? ------------------------- Kitsune's Random Auctions http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZkitsu... |

You're entitled to your opinion.
But I did have "Side offers will be considered" written in the auction rules. If someone wanted to pay less than $750, then they could've spoken to me via PM. I was expecting to get somewhere around $750 on eBay before the auction was pulled, which is why I added that buy it price. ------------------------- Kitsune's Random Auctions http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZkitsu... |
