I got introduced to this site through a gaming magazine retrospective on RetrowareTV, and I must say I'm glad I watched it. I look forward to reading through the site's publications.

My name is Rhys, I'm 17 and live in the UK. I play all sorts of games, retro and new alike. My favourite games include Jet Set Radio, Persona 4, Wild Guns, F-Zero series, Silent Hill series, Tenchu series, Tales of Symphonia, Gunstar Heroes, Metal Slug, and loads more.

I'm a bit of an obsessive console collector, and so far I have a Wii, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, DS, GBA, N64 and a SNES (though the SNES has stopped working unfortunately )

I want nothing more than to become a games developer. Putting my own ideas on the market has been a dream of mine since I was very young (I started playing games at 3 years old when I had a Megadrive (or Genesis) and my first game was Chuck Rock).

I've been a member of GameTradingZone for 7 years and only recently came to visit NA. How could I have missed out? I'm an avid NESer, like most of you, so I think I'll fit nicely in. I'm a pretty hardcore GTZ fanboy but I think I'd like to make most of my NES buying/selling here, since its dedicated.

Will get pictures of my collection up but definitely cannot beat some of you. I only collect CIB items in very good-excellent condition so it's a relatively small but decent collection. Will have pictures up soon. Some include:

I've been browsing the forum this morning, and I have to say - really great place here =] I was actually referred to NA by a friend I met on ebay a ways back (Spoonman). Like everyone here it seems, I have always loved video games, and as soon as I started making my own money (um, 1990 lol), I've always bought them.

Anyhow, as things turned out, the arcade side of gaming became my passion =] But along the way, I always loved my old consoles, and amassed a ridiculous amount of stuff. Thing is - it's all been boxed for years, and although I would gladly sell it all - year after year, I take one look at the amount of stuff and say, "Aw hell, I'll do it later..." But now, since I got rid of my storage unit, it's all in my house, and it's just got to go lol

Which brings me here. I'm not a collector by any means. But whether its the fact that I loathe supporting ebay's fees, that I'm a packrat, or that I'm just plain too lazy to do it - the time has come to at least make some effort at cleaning up

As I said to Matt, (Spoonman), I kind of hesitated to join a forum just to sell. Not only is it kind of rude (imo), but as an active member in a few forums myself, I guess I just think it comes off as disrespectful at times... But whatever - that's why I'm making this post. To tell you guys that I think you have a wonderful community here, and that if you guys will have me, I would love the opportunity to sell all my old stuff directly to those who will love & appreciate it =]

Lastly, respect for the forum as a whole. If I offend anyone, showing up here to dump all my stuff - I'm sorry. I just wanted to be straight with you guys is all. As much as I can't stand ebay, I have been on it for years, and have perfect feedback for reference, & excellent forum rep as well. Once again, I wish you guys happy gaming, and if the stuff of my youth can add to your enjoyment, I'm glad to offer it!
