The August, 2009 NintendoAge.com e-zine is now available!
  August 05, 2009 ¤ by  Dain (103) Chalice of Trust (100-249 feedback)

If you'd asked me at the begging of this year whether or not we'd put Mike Tyson's lovely mug on the cover of two 'zines within 4 months of each other, I'd have told you to lay off the crack. But as it were, the news we bring you this month was too exciting and too much of a surprise for us not to double-up our love for Mikey.

In this issue:

  • 1 / COVER by Kevin Hanley
  • 2-3  / DAN LANGEVIN variation station v2
  • 3 / ZIGGY ZIEGLER comparing baselines
  • 4-5 / PAT GALLAGHER not for resale carts
  • 11-14 / DAN LANGEVIN/JASON SMITH warbotics
  • 15-16 / MICHAEL SWANSON moving a collection
  • 6-10 NINTENDOAGE PRICE GUIDE

DOWNLOAD NOW!

Keeping true to tradition, we couldn't leave you hanging with just a picture of Tyson -- we'll send you on your way with a good quote to boot

  "One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like a infantile retard." --Mike Tyson

Mike, we still   feel your pain bro, and that goes for Julius too.

 The June, 2009 NintendoAge.com e-zine is now available!

Please bear with the rather spartan layout this month, Kevin our usual talented format artist and assistant editor has taken a brief hiatus. Thanks to all of you, the readers, for politely allowing the extra time while I figured out how to put together all the pieces for you all. It may not be pretty, but we've got some super content this month:

Gaming GoodNESs::
* Two new unreleased games
* Robin Mihara gives tips and videos
* Mario retro-spective
* Online shipping: a breakdown
* A price guide year in review
* JNES' gaming memoirs

Exerion II
by Jaleco

It's that time once again to announce another successful community dump, this time for a space shooter, Exerion II! We'd like to thank the 25 or so members along with DreamTR for making this happen.

RetroZone has done something cool by releasing this game as a multi-cart, including the original version as well:

We're not sure what we'll try to release next, so stay tuned to find out!

Exerion II NA Version (NA Version, released by 'DreamTR') (Zip 23K)

Do whatever you'd like with the ROM -- enjoy!
